The Doctors at Warrenville Grove Animal Hospital

Comments: If there were more stars I would give them more!
I have used Warrenville Grove for my cat and two dogs for 5+ years. I was a frequent visitor due to my one dog having some serious health issues. Warrenville Grove was thorough, compassionate, and spent much time talking and working with us. When needed they worked with specialists and even the holistic doctor I tried!. Dr. Miner has been the one I usually see, but I have worked with each of them: All three doctors are excellent. You can tell that they, and their staff, are well trained and true animal lovers.
Great job Warrenville Grove !

Comments: We have been clients of Warrenville Grove Animal Hospital since it opened in 2007. Presently we have four dogs and over this time we have had to use every service they offer and have not been disappointed. Only once we had to obtain services elsewhere and that was an emergency euthanasia on a Sunday when Warrenville Grove was closed.
The support staff themselves cannot be better. A sense of priority and immediacy and helpfulness is just part of their expertise. They are understanding and gentle with all their clients--and the owners as well.
Dr. Nancy and Dr. Miner are the doctors who staff the office and are both superior in their specialties. Dr. Miner is an excellent diagnostician and excellent surgeon. We brought a dog in in shock with a totally dislocated hip, open wounds and muscle damage from being hit by a large SUV. The surgery Dr. Miner performed was perfect and innovative; he restored our Jack Russell to full use of all her faculties.
Dr. Nancy not only eased that dog's stress and discomfort, she restored us to sanity as well. She has the ability to treat the most anxious of our dogs with thoroughness and ease that takes stress away. So three of our four have needed specialty care that we are totally satisfied with.
As I write this we are going to have to be calling soon to avail ourselves of Dr. Aaron's services to come to our home and finally ease the discomfort and illness of our two older dogs. We have no doubt this, too will be handled with sensitivity and professionalism.

Comments : My husband and I have been taking our dog "Birdy" and cat "Sox" to see Drs. Aaron and Nancy, and Dr. Miner for the past 4 years. Sadly, we just moved to Oklahoma and we miss the outstanding and excellence in veterinarian care that our pets received from your entire team. Thank you for all your help and dedication to providing the best care for our pets.

Comments : Just wanted to say that this place rocks. Dr. Aaron has been coming to my home for about a year now taking care of my two cats. I call him the Cat Whisperer because it always amazes me how my one cat will calmly sit on his lap and let him clean her ears, put stuff in her eye, check her teeth, etc. I should be so luckly working with her. Everyone I have dealt with at the clinic are so nice. My one cat Butterscotch had to have a tooth taken out and spent two days at the clinic, she had a lot to say to me when I picked her up but never a nasty word.

Comments : Excellent Vet, Excellent Staff for Our Excellent Dog On February 27, 2010 we brought our beloved dog Dakota into Warrenville Grove Animal Hospital to get a 2nd opinion on her rear leg. She had been limping for several months and, due to her age of 13 years, we were reluctant to seek out surgery. After seeing she was not improving, we made an appointment at Warrenville Grove. Dr. Miner examined her and diagnosed her with a torn ACL. Since she was in otherwise good heath, we decided go ahead with surgery. However, that Monday she injured it further, causing her to howl in pain. We called the following morning and they got her in that day. Concerned that she couldn’t bear weight on either of her back legs, Dr. Minor ordered an X-ray of her spine (before we continued with the planned surgery) to rule out a possible spinal injury; unfortunately he found a herniated disk. She was prescribed medication for the pain and swelling and, if she couldn’t bear weight on both legs by Thursday, we were told there was little to nothing that could be done to improve her condition. Upon leaving, Dr. Miner even personally carried her out to the car due to her sedateness. Sadly, a couple days later, Dakota was euthanized. Dr. Miner gave us time to grieve and say our goodbyes with a tenderness and compassion that was unexpected and appreciated. The time & concern that was given to her and us during the consultation and when she passed went far beyond any expectations we ever could have had. Although our wonderful dog didn't get better, the care we received from Dr. Miner and Warrenville Grove assured us we were doing the right thing and that she was in good hands every step-of-the-way. The Staff even sent us a sympathy card a few days later! Losing our dog has been very hard, but finding a great veterinarian has made it easier. We have other animals that will need care in the future and we now have a vet we can trust to give them the proper care they deserve. Thank you Dr. Miner and Staff for your care and concern that helped to ease the pain & grief of losing our best friend. The Geinosky family

Comments : Our mommy takes us to see Dr. Miner because he gives us the best care possible for our needs! We are brother and sister cats, age 4, and we are indoor only. We have unique health characteristics and very distinct personalities. Our mommy trusts Dr. Miner and the entire staff because they always ask questions to help assess our health during check-ups, and don't give us anything we don't need. One of us is very adventurous and wanders the room, while the other of us is shy and likes to hide. The staff knows how to make both of us as stress-free as possible outside of our super-comfy home. We really like it here and plan to have a very long life because of the great staff! Thank you! Meow, Mr. Man and Little Girl

Comments : After 25 years, we lost our veterinarian. He had researched which practice followed his philosophy and he recommended Warrenville Grove Animal Hospital. My first visit I was very impressed with the facility. The second I met and was even more impressed with Dr. Nancy. She took a great deal of time with me and my two four-year old bichon/maltese girls. We discussed behavior problems, allergies. food and general care. I am very cautious when suggesting what might be good for others but felt so sure of the care provided that I have already given their name to my dog groomer's owner so he can recommend them when asked about good veterinary care. Thank you Dr. Nancy and thank you to staff member Terry, who had worked for my previous veterinarian now on staff here, for making the transition so easy. I know my Lucy and Desi(Desiree) are in good and caring hands.
